I love a parade!
Last night we were on the Day School's float for the Christmas parade. I am going to skip over the nightmare of a start we had and just focus on the fun. The kids all wore boxes wrapped in holiday paper. I carried Henry in my sling and walked the parade route because we was wiggly and tired. He stayed awake the whole time and even handed out flyers to people! Frances rang her jingle bells underneath her box and yelled "Merry Christmas!" to the people. We saw Daddy at the end of the route and then doubled back to go visit and warm up a bit before watching for Santa. Then we walked down to our church for some cookies and candy. We waited there for Stacey and her kids and hung out for a little while. Norman and Ken came and picked us up and drove us back to my car. We had a very late night, but it was fun. I am sore and exhausted this morning, so I am crossing my fingers for a good anp this afternoon. I didn't get any pictures, but Stacey did, so when she gets her posted, I will likely steal them!
I am a 30-something mom of three. I work in a great office at a great university and I get to look at books all day long! I love to read, blog, and spend time with my family.
