Benjamin is taking First Communion classes this year and I am helping out. Surprising to no one, I am doing the story telling station. We've been reading different Bible stories and discussing them each week. I have the stories given to me, but I have some leeway in how I present them to the kids. I've got a pretty good collection of Bible storybooks, but the one I just added is really a step above.

The Planet 316 Story Bible contains more than 100 Bible stories from both the Old and New Testaments. The stories are short and to the point, written so that kids can relate to them. The pictures are bright and eye catching...and have augmented reality embedded in them!

Download the free app, hold it up to any of the illustrations in the book, and wait for the characters to pop up! Once the characters have popped, you can tap on them and listen to what they have to say. The book itself is fun, but adding in the augmented reality from the app makes it really amazing!
