Spring Bucket List

This weekend I read a post from Danielle over at It's A Harleyyy Life about her Spring bucket list.  It reminded me that I had made a list for Fall and should make a new one for Spring.  I did pretty well with the Fall list-I think the only thing we missed were family pictures. I am so excited for Spring weather to be here, but Mother Nature has other plans.

To jump start Spring in my head, here is my bucket list for the season (when it finally arrives):

  •  fly a kite with the kids
  • eat dinner outside
  • jump in some puddles after a warm rain
  • pick strawberries
  • spend a day at the park
  • help my kids learn to ride their bikes
  • go for a hike as a family
  • plant our garden
  • get family pictures done
  • open up the windows and air out the house (...and do some Spring cleaning...)
Has you weather turned Spring-like yet? Do you have a to do list for the season?

  1. I have had spring cleaning on my list since LAST spring...but I really need to do it now. It's been too long since we've spent an afternoon at the park. That's the other "must do" on my spring list! :) --Lisa

    1. Cleaning is on every list I ever make. Doesn't mean I get it done, though!! :)

  2. Totally frigid wind here today and yesterday. Total. Although it's supposed to get warmer tomorrow and on. I love this idea. I think strawberries are on my list. And my baby son doesn't like berries yet! I hope that fresh, local, just-picked changes his mind. I want to hit Cape Cod on my bucket list. We have a house on the upper cape and we always go in the height of summer and suffer traffic and crowds. I'd just love to go when it's warm but not hot and we can pretend we have the town to ourselves.

  3. Our weather just started to turn Spring this weekend! I am definitely looking forward to my daughters going out side more. I want to get them a trampoline for the Spring/Summer months this year so that is on my "bucket list". They also got kites in their Easter baskets and are dying to get out with those so that's another thing on the list!

    1. A trampoline sounds fun! My boys could certainly burn some energy with one of those!!

  4. Our weather is currently cold. But it's supposed to be in the 70s this weekend.

  5. Yes. Yes. Yes. Actually, 10X yes. I would have written nearly the exact same list. I cannot wait to tick some things off of my spring bucket list. :)

  6. We're still going back and forth between spring weather right now. I'm hoping it gets (and stays) warmer soon! I've started working on my spring cleaning but I haven't really made a list. We're in that sports mode so most of our weekends will be spent on the soccer field. But I need to start thinking of some fun things to do over spring break!

  7. Congrats on your SITS Day! We're going back and forth and back and forth between springy weather and frigid weather, which is par for the course for New England. I did go and buy our seeds, though. I want to try planting right in the ground this year because I have nowhere to start the seeds!

  8. Oh, golly, I've GOT to start my seeds . . . but at least I have a good start on the garden beds!

  10. AH! What an incredible idea! I've never thought to do a seasonal bucket list! Makes it seem a lot more possible if you tackle smaller goals instead of "climbing Mt. Everest" one day! I might have to borrow this idea ;-)

  11. Great list! I can't wait to open the windows and let the fresh air in. Still waiting on some warm weather.
