Overheard

Frances (from the backseat): Mommy, I don't want to hurt your feelings or anything, but Daddy is my favorite parent.  {long pause} He has country music.

Henry likes his kisses before bed and since we read The Kissing Hand a few weeks ago, he has been wanting me to kiss his hands before bed.  Then one night he wanted "kissing feet" which caused a whole new round of silliness and giggles. And most recently, he has wanted me to kiss his "forest head."

Henry (while identifying his shapes):  Circle, squawe, triangle, reptangle...

And Benjamin has discovered the fun of the game "peek-a-boo" and giving very loud mmmmmmmmmmm-WAH! kisses.
