Have you read any good books lately? I've had the chance to do some extra reading since I've given up being on my phone at night. (Although, for the sake of full disclosure, I read this book on my phone, LOL!) I first "met" Angela as part of The Mother of All Meltdowns
crew a few years ago. There are a number of us who have kept in touch since then and when Angela announced that she had published her own book, I was excited to read it.
Hiding in Plain Sight is a great mix of romance and suspense. The heroine, Kierra, has more than her fair share of tragedy in her past, but she's moved on and made a better life for herself. However, she knows in her heart that there are loose ends that need to be tied up, for her sake and for the sake of others.
She heads back to the one place in her memory where the good and the bad wrangle the most. In doing so, she meets up with her past in more ways than one. She is able to find the truth and right the wrongs, while also falling in love and finding things she didn't know she was missing.
I really like that Kierra didn't come across as a damsel in distress. While, yes, she did get some help in resolving things; she kicked a lot of butt herself. Literally!
Hiding in Plain Sight is available on Amazon.

I am a 30-something mom of three. I work in a great office at a great university and I get to look at books all day long! I love to read, blog, and spend time with my family.
