It has been really COLD lately. It hasn't gotten above freezing at all this week. They had been calling for a slight chance of snow today and more tomorrow. It dusted *maybe* less than an inch last night, so of course all the schools are out!!
No worries here, though. Ken is off from work so he is enjoying a day home with Frances and Henry. Hopefully he won't be tied to the couch when I get home while they run around the house in their underwear eating cookies. Actually that wouldn't be too bad for him if they let him watch TV. It doesn't sound all that different from my Saturdays!!

Here they are forecasting a "mix of wintry precipitation expected during the afternoon". Whatever that means.
ReplyDeleteIt means they have absolutely NO IDEA and they are hoping you won't notice!! LOL!!
DeleteI'm from Ohio originally and live in south Florida now, so it kind of bums me out that my girls will never know the excitement of an unexpected snow day. Hurricane days just aren't the same, lol.
ReplyDeleteNo, I don't think I'd enjoy a hurricane day! :)
DeleteIt's like 17 degrees here right now! I'd take 29 - LOL!
ReplyDeleteWe are JUST beginning to get in the thick of winter in SC. Tomorrow we have our first forecast of freezing rain and sleet. Great... :-/ Stay warm! Stopping in from SITS.
ReplyDeleteBrrrr....it's warmer in Oklahoma but we came from Wyoming where it got incredibly cold.
