Benjamin Turns 2!

We had Benjamin's birthday party on the Sunday after his birthday. He loves trains (coo-coos) so that's the design I went with for his cake.  I think it turned out pretty well. 

 

 He got a new bike helmet to go with his new bike. He wasn't interested in the helmet when he first unwrapped it, but as soon as he saw the bike, he dug it back out and wanted it on!  He left it on for the rest of the party!  Even while he mowed the carpet!!

 My mom thought it would be a good time to get some family pictures taken. The kids didn't necessarily agree, but they did cooperate briefly.

Benjamin 's birthday is tomorrow, but I have a hard time blogging on Saturdays so I will post it today:

Friday Fill-Ins FINALLY!

1. Ah, me...what a week!!
2. All the stuff we have to do is what's on my mind most lately.
3. When I talk to my best friend, it's usually by text, email or Facebook message.
4. Lot's of water and extra walking is what's working for me lately.
5. I recently saw a hysterical car advertisement .
6. My kids fill me with joy!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to baking a birthday cake, tomorrow my plans include "Touch a Truck" at Chick-Fil-A and Frances' First Communion retreat and Sunday, I want to celebrate my baby turning 2!!!!
