Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.
This week I definitely did not freak out my co-workers by referring to Henry as a "middle child." No! I am not pregnant (OK, I can see how that might be confusing, but I'm really not!) I know how many children I have and I would never make such a mistake! (It is also not the second time that I have done such a thing!)
I did not drink two glasses of wine at dinner on Valentine's Day and then proceed to giggle uncontrollably through the rest of the meal.
I did not see Henry find a Cheerio on the floor as I was cleaning and then encourage him to eat it.
I did not lose all the credit I gained from buying my Valentine's Day cards early by then proceeding to forget about them and having the kids sign them in front of their father right before they gave them to him.
I did not fall asleep while playing the Wii last night. (That's my super power: being able to fall asleep anywhere at anytime...except for in bed at bedtime)

I am a 30-something mom of three. I work in a great office at a great university and I get to look at books all day long! I love to read, blog, and spend time with my family.

How funny.. I saw your comment (at least I think it was your comment) on my blog, but your profile is private, so I couldn't find your blog. Then I came to Mr. Linky to look at the Not Me posts of the folks around me, and here you are! Yes, I did wash my boy's mouth out, but he is one stubborn fella. I may have to do it again, and I will if I have to. He now knows for sure what will happen... :<)
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday!
thanks for stopping by my blog today! i get all excited about getting things done early, then i forget about them (like the cards) and totally lose points. so frustrating!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment!
ReplyDeleteI love the "middle child" comment; maybe he was "acting" like a middle child? lol... we have a "middle child" dog who acts just like a "middle". it's hysterical.
And, I could fall asleep in any situation too! Good job. I haven't tried with the Wii yet!
Thanks for visiting my blog!
ReplyDeleteMiddle child, hmmm... Maybe a little Freudian slip? ;)
And I thought the cheerio was hilarious. I would NEVER let my child eat ANYTHING off the floor. Ever. Not me!
Hey! We have the same super power! I think it comes with being a Mom, lol.
