Wednesday's Wonderful Website

I like alliteration! Can you tell? Each Wednesday I hope to feature a website that I find fun, useful, or otherwise noteworthy for my reader (s?) to try out.
For the first go 'round, I thought I would add my daily dose of reality: Snopes. Snopes bills itself as an "Urban Legend Reference Page." This website is great for checking on the veracity of your latest email forward or the story your friend told you about something that happened to another friend. I check daily for new posts and enjoy reading the featured story from the archives. You can also select "random" to receive...you guess it! A random story.
The stories are organized by category and somewhat cross-referenced if they would fit into more than one group. If you remember a story from childhood and want to check it out, you can find it. If you want a good ghost story to tell at your next slumber party; those are there too. The "Hottest 25 Legends" will more than likely contain your last few junk mails. I can waste lots of time at this website, and learn something too!
