I couldn't take very good pictures because I figured the flash would ruin them. You can still see that we had a good time glowing in the dark and playing golf.
I also learned some interesting things while I was there:
- Powdered laundry detergent fluoresces under a black light. I learned this because apparently my clothes aren't getting rinsed as well as they should and my shirt had speckles all over it. Maybe I should stop shoving so many clothes in the washer!
- My kids can't count. None of them. Ken and I laughed each time they would play through: putt, putt, putt, putt, putt, putt, putt and then announce, "I got a four!!" I honestly don't think they were trying to be deceitful, they just had a hard time counting while concentrating on their plays.
- It is a good thing we have played this course in the day light. There are some parts of it that don't show up at all in the black light.
- Family time is fun! I wish we could do things like this more often. I guess we'll just have to take advantage of it whenever we can!
